Rogers Canada is having this contest called “Who has the Touch” where 2 people are given an assignment and 48 hours to compete to see who comes up with the best videos. The winner takes home $5000. I figured, hey! I have those skills, so I put in an entry.

The entry video has to be under 1 minute and describe your Coolest idea. Here’s my entry:

18 years +
energetic, funny, with a touch of insanity
out of the box thinker
have access to a video camera
have the means an ability to edit your videos
have a competitive spirit that would impress a 60-year-old wrestling coach
understand proper conduct – no nudity, swearing, trashing, illegal activity, arrests, or socks with sandals

Hey everyone!

Last week I attended an event put on by NotableTV for the launch of the Annex Loft House which was totally amazing. There was food and wine and tons of amazing people both friends and new friends. As usual I shot a bit of video which I’ve been sitting on as I wanted to give it the editing touch. It’s been really busy this last week with me being sick and tons of intense projects at work, so I hadn’t had a chance to go through the footage and produce a video. Well, you can wait no longer…the video’s up!

Hey peeps!

It’s been another little while since I’ve posted. Things have been beyond busy but that’s no excuse. I’m sure if you’re in twitter you’ve been hearing the buzz about #LoserKaraoke. It’s a little thing we like to do on Thursdays at at Tequila Sunrise. It started out as TechKaraoke, but has been improved and added a few regulars. This week happened to have a very low turn out, often the place is so packed you can’t move. Not sure why there is such a difference some times.

Do you really need to spend the money on a huge billboard to advertise yourself? Fare hikes, terrible service? Who are you competing against that you need to advertise? Isn’t every bus, bus stop, subway, etc. Already advertising for you?

It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged, in that long amount of time I’ve been up to a bunch of different stuff. Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Sunday’s I’ve been doing this;

I joined Aikido at the Japanese Canadian Culture Centre (JCCC) on Wynford Dr. JCCC Aikikai Website. I’ve only been at it 2 months now but I’ve found it to be incredibly enjoyable, not necessarily intense excersice but a great way to focus the body and mind, which is what I was looking for.

Dinner last night – Slow Carb – 20lbs in 4 weeks?

Hey,

Recently, I’ve started on a slow-carb, high protein, fat reduction experiment. During the summer it seems that I managed to put on a few pounds. With the eating out, drinking often and generally not really taking care of myself like I have in the past.

I’ve decided to do a little experiment to see if I can more rapidly drop that bit of fluff to bring back a more defined physic.

This experiment is not for the faint of heart and definitely not for someone who cares how food tastes. In this experiment food is not really to be enjoyed, it’s just something you need to do.

If anyone is interested in the meals or the results (pending) let me know and I’ll post the meals I’ve been eating.

So far it’s been 1.5 weeks and I can tell you, lentils suck and beans grow on you.

Here’s last night’s dinner (at 10pm) to get the idea. This is probably the tastiest meal so far.

Baby Spinach, with Black beans, Pinto beans and a Round Eye Steak.

I’m also taking 500gm of Niacin (the flushing is insane) and 200mcg of Chromium.

Let’s see how it goes.
