Hey David!,

Actually, I had a great time at the Make Web Not War event. Unfortuanately a bunch of work problems came up and I had to run out of the auditorium to make some phone calls and look at some servers At which time I was to plug in. When I came back I strategically sat next to one of the plugs :). I really need my next laptop to have a 12hour battery. On a side note the Ryerson Wifi was blocking RDP, I’m glad I brought my Bell card.

One of the best MS events I’ve been to.

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the props on the keynote. When I arrived there were a few power bars, I dropped my stuff near one of the strips (I forgot to charge my phone), one of the Ryerson A/V people removed everything before I could even plug in. Not sure if it wasn't on the work order, or we didn't pay for it, or what. I agree this was a huge pain-in-the-ass. Fortunately for me, I just dropped my laptops and phone off at registration and charged them. I will make sure that we fix this going forward.

I hope you had a good time.
